Brainspotting
Completed Phases I & II with Pacific Trauma Center
“Where you look affects how you feel.”
Brainspotting is a mind and body approach that helps you to process issues in a part of your brain that talk therapy can’t reach. I help you find a visual spot that allows you to access any memories or sensations stored in that part of your brain to promote it’s ability to heal. Leaving you feeling more regulated and less distress around distressing memories and unhelpful beliefs.
Brainspotting can help reduce symptoms on a variety of issues including those related to trauma, medical trauma, anxiety, depression, & panic, creativity and performance related issues, grief, and chronic physical pain.
If you are someone who struggles to be in tune with your body or accessing raw emotions, Brainspotting may be a great treatment option.

Exposure Response Prevention
Trained with: CBT School
Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) is a a type of cognitive behavioral therapy and is the gold standard treatment for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. It is also effective at treating Anxiety & Panic disorders, Phobias, and Eating Disorders.
I will conduct an assessment to learn more about your goals and how your fears and worries are holding you back. Once we have gained that awareness, I help you to learn tools and strategies to feel more confident and shift how you relate to your thoughts and feelings.
Then, together we will collaborate on creating a hierarchy to address the behaviors that are keeping you stuck and intentionally expose you to those situations to help you break free from this cycle.
If you are someone who struggles with intense emotions, discomfort, fear, disgust, or anxiety, ERP may be a great treatment option.

Mindful Self Compassion
Completed the 8 week Mindful Self Compassion training created by Kristen Neff & Chris Germer.
Mindful Self Compassion (MSC) is a tool that combines skills from mindfulness and self compassion to promote emotional resilience. I will teach you techniques to become more mindful of your thoughts and physical sensations while disengaging from unhelpful cycle of judgement, guilt, self criticism, or shame that keep you stuck.
MSC has been found to help individuals increase their ability to handle intense, difficult emotions with more ease, increase motivation, increase in self confidence and self esteem, decrease in stress, anxiety, and depression.
If you are someone who struggles with perfectionism, anxiety, navigating intense emotions, or who has a loud inner critic, MSC may be a great treatment option.

Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT) is a structured, evidence based treatment for those who have experienced trauma or who struggle with symptoms like PTSD, depression, and anxiety. TF-CBT uses relaxation and regulation skills, trauma narrative development and processing, gradual exposure work, and preventative strategies to help you to cope with your traima, manage your symptoms, strengthen your support, and develop healthy coping skills.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a form of cognitive behavioral therapy that is based in action and values. Instead of trying to “fix” your thoughts and emotions or labeling them as good or bad, I help you to change how you relate to them. I will teach you strategies that help you to feel more confident navigating your thoughts and feelings and more empowered to re-direct to your values.
